Colors and Cubes

Last Wednesday, volunteers hauled two truckloads of used cubicles from Beaverton to the new office space.
Everything had to come up this flight of rickety stairs. Not an easy task.

This chair didn't make the cut.
Doug Holcomb (Mosaic's resident wheeler dealer) negotiated a bunch of free filing cabinets with the cubicles. The staff was thrilled; the volunteers less so. Notice the blue and green walls in the background. Very nice.

This is evidence of all their hard work, worthy of lunch at My Cahn downstairs:

Paint changes things too

This is Isaac, as in "Isaac needs an office". He's maybe the most excited of anyone about all the progress. Though he hasn't been told yet that he'll be in a cubicle.

Sheetrock changes things

The sheetrock is up and the office space is really starting to take shape. Here's the front door, which will open into a reception area. Now you'll actually have a place to sit while waiting for an appointment.

A close up of the unicorn decal on the window... We're debating about whether to keep it or put some sort of Mosaic logo on the door.

This is a view from an office on the north end, looking south through the soon-to-be cubicle farm in the center.
